THE OSL COLUMBARIUM
A Visible Reminder of Our Future Hope
What is a columbarium?
A Columbarium is a permanent structure with niches or compartments designed to hold the urns containing the ashes of loved ones.
What are the benefits of an OSL Columbarium?
Our goal for the OSL Columbarium within the OSL Prayer Garden is both to keep those in our faith family close, and also to provide a meditative environment that can be a silent, visible reminder of the unshakeable hope we share with those saints at OSL who have gone before us - a testament to the hope of bodily resurrection from the dead, and life with God in the new heaven and new earth.
It provides members a significantly less expensive and simpler option, eliminating the pressures and high costs of multiple contacts and locations for burial site, vault, monument, and all that is involved with internment.
A niche in our OSL Columbarium, which holds two urns, is $3,500.
Included in the purchase price of a niche are the two urns for the niche, the plaques inscribed with name and dates of birth and death, the opening and closing of the niche for inurnment, and the perpetual care. The fee does not cover the cost of cremation.
Who may reserve a niche in the OSL Columbarium?
Inurnment in the OSL Columbarium is available to members and their immediate family, employees and former employees of OSL. Niches may be selected in accordance with the desires of each applicant based on availability.
